Know before you go.
Intelligence you can act on — built by someone who spent 20 years making complex systems work.
Robert Morgan
Creator of RainAudit and the RAINWAVE™ intelligence methodology.
Twenty years inside enterprise IT at some of the most demanding environments in American finance — trade floors where systems don't get to fail, financial platforms where a misconfigured server means real money lost, and compliance environments where every decision has a paper trail.
At Wells Fargo, he held three roles over thirteen years. Trade Floor Support — keeping the desks running for Equity Capital Markets, Fixed Income, and Investment Banking. Business Systems Consultant — on the team that owned the Fiserv APL Portfolio Management and Trading Platform, handling assigned projects across the platform, writing BRDs, running BCP tests, and using SQL daily to find what the data actually said versus what people thought it said. And PC/LAN Analyst III — the person the team called when the problem was elevated, and the team's designated ADA specialist.
“The same question I asked before touching any enterprise system is the one RainAudit answers: what does this actually look like from the outside?”
He left Wells Fargo in late 2020.
Not by choice.
Kidney failure took him off the floor. What followed was five years of home hemodialysis — four sessions a week, three or more hours each. Not clinic dialysis. Home hemo, which means inserting 15-gauge needles into your own arm and running the machine yourself. Twelve-plus hours a week, connected to equipment doing what his kidneys no longer could.
It requires precision, clinical discipline, and the ability to perform a procedure on yourself — without flinching — for five years straight. He managed it the way he manages everything: methodically, without drama, and with his eye on what came next.
What came next was TethrdLife LLC. He started building it late in 2025 — in the dialysis chair, between sessions, while the machine ran. He registered the company on January 2nd, 2026. Five weeks later, on February 8th, 2026, he received a kidney transplant.
He was already building before the transplant. He kept building after it.
Two decades, four years, one company.
The same discipline that kept trade floors running.
Twenty years of enterprise IT taught him a specific question to ask before touching anything: what does this actually look like from the outside, and what does that tell us about what's broken on the inside?
That question is what RainAudit answers for BD and compliance intelligence. Every audit is a structured answer to: what does your public surface actually say to a contracting officer, a teaming partner, or a compliance assessor — and what gaps are creating friction you may not even know exists?
The RAINWAVE™ methodology is not a checklist. It's a systematic research framework built on the same principles that governed his enterprise IT work — verify before you write, confirm before you conclude, and never confuse not visible with not real.
“Every finding cites its source. Every claim is confirmed or labeled. That's not a feature — that's the standard I was held to for twenty years.”
Not a traditional path. Exactly the right one.
Understanding how financial platforms actually work — not in theory, but in production, under pressure, with real consequences — means understanding how organizations communicate what they do, where the gaps between stated capability and visible proof live, and how a contracting officer or compliance auditor reads a public surface differently than the people who built it.
Markets don't pause. Diagnosis and resolution under time pressure became reflex.
BRDs, vendor relationships, SQL on real data. Process discipline as second nature.
Enterprise-level remediation. The escalation point when nothing else worked.
Products have to work for everyone they serve — not just the technical audience.
Methodology-first architecture.
RainAudit runs on a methodology-first architecture. The RAINWAVE™ intelligence framework — developed and refined through live audits — governs how every report is produced. Next.js platform, Claude API intelligence layer, a COUNT/FLASH integrity system that prevents unverified claims from shipping, and a structured output framework that contracting officers, BD teams, and compliance professionals can use immediately.
Every report is produced under the TRUTH · WITNESS · COUNT/FLASH · HONEST LOG integrity architecture — the same discipline he applied to systems that couldn't afford to be wrong.
RainAudit is a TethrdLife LLC product. TethrdLife LLC is Robert's company — registered January 2nd, 2026, headquartered in Glen Carbon, Illinois. Inventor on the itemp0 provisional patent application — the foundational hierarchical container architecture (DECK · SLIDE · CARD) that underpins both the TethrdLife platform and the RainAudit portal.
